Rahul's Experience Highlights
Obtained landmark judgment from the Supreme Court of India on “imposition of the penalty based on relevant turnover” (Excel Crop Care Ltd. v CCI).
Rahul advises and assists stakeholders and companies including international carriers, mobile and landline telecom operators, ISPs, submarine cable operators/ owners, cable landing station operators, IT companies, online content providers, media and entertainment companies on legal and regulatory issues in India.
Advised and assisted the Department of Investment & Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Government of India, & HPCL in HPCL-ONGC Merger. Assisted the Government of India in issuing the exemption notification for Central Public Sector Enterprises to obtain merger approval from CCI.
Rahul enabled SEACOM to establish the first post liberalisation submarine cable system in India.
